| Hey everyone! Wow, long time no blog. And I know I usually say that a lot, but I actually mean it this time. It's been nearly 2 months since my last entry. Wow, this year is just flying by really quickly! But, no, all is well with me. However, life has taken a bit of an interesting turn. In case you didn't hear, I've become a bit of a "hip-hop sensation", lol, thanks to the song "i'm a Gangsta". It's crazy, I started out by simply sending it for Joe as a bit of a joke, but he enjoyed it so much that he decided to share it with everyone else. And I mean everyone (including my band teacher, and eventually a 9th grade English teacher who I don't even have), and it achieved rave reviews. If you haven't heard it yet, you should definitely check it out here. And yes, that actually is me. It's crazy, on our Myspace profile, which Joe also made, we only have like 40 friends, but they are from all over the country. St. Louis, LA, New Jersey, Las Vegas......it's just been very bizarre. Yet sweet. And now I'm being pressured for a followup, although that worries me, because I just don't think I can pump out another song like "I'm a Gangsta" so soon. Meh, screw it anyway. And also, I tried out for the play this week and got in! It's like the 3rd or 4th biggest male part, so that's pretty bitchin'. You guys should definitely come check it out when we perform it next month. Hmmm........I think that's all for now. See you in two months! (except hopefully before then) -B - Mood:content

| Ahoy hoy, friends. So yeah, I just got back from school. (School on a Saturday? Yes, it happened. But don't worry, I didn't learn anything.) There was the girls basketball tournament, so I worked the scoreboard along with Ross and Jake. And we made $50. How sweet is that? (What might be even sweeter, though, is that having just spent $300 on a new iPod about 2 1/2 weeks ago, I'm already back up to $175. And there's still about 10-15 games left this season. So don't be surprised if I'm over $300 again by the end of February) And if you're wondering about the title, those are all of the nicknames that Jake and I assigned to the players. There's a story behind each of them, but I'm not going to really go into them. By far, our favorite was Da Cussa. We called her that because one time when she walked by us and lost the ball, she yelled "Shit!", but didn't swear after that. So the nickname didn't really apply after that. But we kept calling her that, lol. And, FYI, my announcing name is Chet, and Jake is Sparky. Don't ask.
And for the record, I don't hate mormons. I just find it creepy how religious they are. Don't ask about that one, either.
So yeah, in short, money-good, secret nicknames-better.
Alright, I think I'll go watch some football. Seeya!

| Hello, folks. Happy Sunday! Not much going on around here. It was a fairly normal week at school this week, which explains why I haven't written in a while. I feel so relieved to be finally done with most of these projects that I have been working on for several weeks (English video, Social Studies book, etc.), and I actually don't currently have any projects to work on. How cool is that?
My iPod is fantabulous. It currently has 160 videos on it (including the first 7 seasons of The Simpsons and highlights from the Rose Bowl on Wednesday). I think I definitely need to get a case for it, though. And a cord to connect it to the TV.
This week, we have to register for high school classes next year. It kinda sucks, because the only "electives" I can take next year are band, Spanish III, and some kind of science. But after next year, I can pretty much take whatever I want, so that's cool. I think I'm definitely ready to move on from junior high.
Hmm.....what else to say? Not much..........
Alrighty, peace out!

| Hey! Merry two days after Christmas! So, today pretty much rocks. In about an hour and a half, I'll be off to film our English movie (which you can read much more about in my previous entry) at Alisha's house, so that will be super fun. But that's not even the best part of today. Because, at.....oh, 11:30 or so this morning, we went to Rosedale, where we visited the Apple store and I picked up my new, black, 60 GB, video iPod! How sweet is that? So in a while, I will have the first 7 seasons of The Simpsons in my hand. It is totally awesome.
So yeah, I'm excited.
Um.......I think that's all I have to write for now, so I'll ttyl!

| Hey hey kids! Happy 2-3 days before Christmas! Yay, we're done with school for the year, too! Huzzah! Although I have multiple projects to work on over break....although one of them will be fun. And it kinda corresponds to my title, but more on that later.
As I mentioned, we're done with school. Today was the last day, so it was pretty easy. We really just watched movies/talked in most of our classes, so that's always cool. And I got some tasty candy, too. After school was the SC/SADD party, so that was pretty fun, too. We were hanging up the chain of life, and I was up on the ladder trying to hang one of the things up, but it wouldn't stay, and then it felt like the ladder was shaking, so I decided to get down, lol. Nifty, eh? Then we ate pizza and played an epic basketball game. Actually, it wasn't epic, but, you know...
So yeah, Christmas coming up. You gotta love that!
Now, about the title.....In English class, we have to make projects for To Kill A Mockingbird, and me, Alisha, Jessica, and Marc decided to make a video (also with Jordan, but he really isn't using it for a grade). And, unfortunately, we can only have 5 people in our movie, so that's definitely unfortunate. So anyway, to get inspired, I decided to look back on our old 8th grade English video (the one that I have mentioned on here several times) about Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. You kinda forget how hilarious something is when you don't watch it for a while. If you haven't seen it, definitely get a copy from Joe, lol. But anyway, I had finished watching, and the credits had started rolling, when lo and behold, it says the we filmed it on the 22nd of April, 2005. And then I realized that today was the 22nd. And then I realized that I needed to come on LJ and tell all of you about that? Isn't that a crazy/awesome coincidence? But we will probably be filming the TKAM video at Alisha's next week sometime, so you know that will be awesome. And, among other things, the early plans for it include a dramatic, "Blair-Witchesque" filming of the creepy chase scene at the end, featuring myself as a drunken Bob Ewell and Jessi as a ham, and a scene with a small, burning house. Intense, eh? But will it be able to top ROTHMC? Maybe. Only if we include Lonely by Akon and In The Ghetto by Elvis somehow again, lol.
Wow, long paragraph about a school project, huh? But it's more than a school project- it's an epic horror/drama/comedy. Coming soon.
Alrighty, I better go. In case I don't write on here again in the next few days, I want you all to have a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hannakah, "Krazy" Kwanzaa, Blessed Ramadan (which may or may not occur during this time of the year, I don't remember), or, if you prefer, a delightful Festivus. Or the Feast of Maximum Occupancy (go watch an old Simpsons episode if you don't know this one, lol). I think I understand why they say Happy Holidays now. There's just too many. Well, actually, they could still say Merry Christmas, but, you know, that's "morally wrong" or whatever. Because we're so morally right usually.
OK, I'm done now. Promise.

| Hey! So yeah, today pretty much rocked. It did contain all of the things listed in my title. We went to see A Christmas Carol at the Guthrie, so we missed most of school. We did get to sit through David Henry's alleged "sexual harrassment" of Nathan in Spanish, lol. And we made up a fake drug bust plan during the next hour. It went surprisingly deep, too. The field trip was pretty good. The bus rides were probably the most entertaining part. As was going to Old Country Buffet. We had a hot bus party featuring myself, Marc, Jessi, Alisha, Tracy, Alex, Marie, and Camille. And on the way back, I got a little excited and fell on to the floor. I won't explain why though. As I told Joe, "That's between us and the bus." And no, it wasn't sexual. The play was OK, too.
So yeah, that's pretty much the jist of what happened today. I could go into more detail regarding each item in the title, but I briefly explained most of them, so I won't. Ask me if you want, I guess. Except about the falling.
11 days 'til Christmas! And 6 more days of school! Although, unfortunately, I have several projects/tests to do between now and then...Oh well.
Alrighty, I better get going. (and I don't really mean that I'm going, I just mean that I'm stopping writing, in case you take things too literally) So I will see y'all on the flip side!

| Hey hey hey! What's up? Not much going on here today. Yay, Friday! Although I will probably be working on homework for most of the weekend, so that sucks. But it's OK, it won't be too bad. It's awesome, I'm talking to Lindsay right now for the first time in.....3 months, I think. Good old "Sasha", lol.
So, school today was uneventful. We did mostly work/tests today, except for watching the "porno" that is "O Brother, Where Are Thou?" in band, lol. Speaking of band, our concert last night was some hot stuff. Muy caliente.
"10-4, King of the Jews."
Ahem.....
OK, sorry for the short entry, but I can't think of anything else to right. So I guess I'll ttyl!

| G'day, folks! Not much going on here. I'm just writing to say that I finally put a userpic on here. I feel so proud of myself! OK, not really. But it is about time, considering I've had this blog for, what, over 5 months now? And it's just about perfect for this time of the season: it's a snapshot from the California Prune Christmas (which, by the way, is hilarious, and you need to go out and find the episode of The Simpsons it is on). And it's also fitting that he's playing a sax, since that's what I'll be doing in, oh, about 5 hours at our concert tonight. Hot stuff!
OK, I'm out. Have a pruney day!

| Greetings. So, there has been a few developments since my last entry. Anything fantastic or groundbreaking? Hardly. Let's see.....Saturday, I watched college football and basketball, and then we went to Eko Backen, which was SUPER fun. I think there were 11 of us that went, so it was really fun. We are definitely going again over break. Hopefully on the first day we get off, because I think I will be gone for the rest of the time. Sunday, I did very little, except homework and watching football. Monday was a fairly normal school day, as was Tuesday, but after school on Tuesday, it was the first day I got to work the scoreboard at a basketball game......except I didn't get to do it. They already had someone to do the girls games. But I still stayed and watched, and I still got paid for it. So that was pretty sweet. Paid to sit and watch basketball. It doesn't get much better than that, does it? Today we had our band rehearsal up at the high school, so that was interesting. But then we got to go out to lunch at McDonalds, where I learned that a large french fry can be entirely concealed within my jeans pocket. Jolly fun.
Tomorrow is our band conert, so that will be good. And we have to continue our sludge test in science, which is our 100+ point test in which we have to separate liquids/solids/gases and identify them all. I HATE YOU, SLUDGY BITCH! Well, actually, it hasn't been that bad. Although I did almost kill our sludge on Monday.
Ugh, history and cultures is the most boringly, useless class ever invented. Oh, how I wish I had taken tech ed. I HATE YOU, CULTURE BITCH! And I mean in this time.
OK, I'm off. Peace!

| Hey! Yay, it's Friday! Huzzah! Today was fairly dull and uneventful, like most school days. Ha, you know something awesome? 3 weeks from today is the first day we get off for Christmas! Isn't that insanely awesome?
So yeah, definitely not much going on right now. But tomorrow is going to be fun. We're all going up to Eco Backen tomorrow night (and when I say everyone, I mean Richie, Marc, Chris, Scott, Jake, and about 10 other people) to go tubing, so that will be super fun. Especially since we're going at the late shift at 7:00, which means that, considering that it is already almost completely dark out at only 5 PM, it will be very dark and intense. If it's half as much fun as when we last went (which was almost a year ago), then it should be good.
Yep.
Hmm......what else to say?
Nothing. I believe that is all. See y'all later!
